Ginger Lemonade with Aloe

Refresh and revitalise with this Ginger Lemonade with Aloe, a vibrant drink perfect for the festive season. This easy mocktail recipe is plant-based and made with zesty lemon, soothing aloe vera, and a touch of natural sweetness. It’s a refreshing way to stay cool and hydrated during the holidays!

 

Ingredients  

 

+  30 ml pure aloe juice
+  30 ml lime juice (freshly squeezed)
+  20 g maple syrup
+  250 ml water
+  Thumb-sized piece of ginger (peeled and finely grated)

  

Directions  

  1. Add all the ingredients to a mason jar and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain into a glass with ice. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Garnish: Serve with lemon slices and fresh ginger.
  • No Maple Syrup: Use honey or a few drops of stevia instead.
  • Cut the Sweetness: Add a pinch of sea salt.
  • No Aloe Juice: Substitute with an extra tablespoon of lemon juice.
