Basil Blackberry Mojito

Looking for an easy mocktail recipe that's both fruity and refreshing? This Basil Blackberry Mojito is a crowd-pleaser at any gathering! Perfect for those seeking an alcohol-free option, or you can make it an adults-only drink by adding white rum. This mocktail is a delicious mix of lemon, basil, and blackberries, topped with ginger ale and soda water for a fizzy finish.

Ingredients

+ Juice Plus+ Chewables (we use Fruit!)

+ 30ml fresh lemon juice

+ 1/2 tbsp of raw cane sugar

+ 1/2 lime, quartered

+ 3 ripe blackberries, plus more for garnish (or berry of choice)

+ 7 basil leaves, plus more for garnish

+ 60ml ginger ale

+ 60ml soda water

+ crushed ice

 

Tip: You can substitute blackberries with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries or cherries.

 

 

 

Directions 

  1. Let chewables soak in lemon juice for at least 1 hour
  2. Muddle 4 Juice Plus+ chewables with raw cane sugar until smooth
  3. Add lime segments, blackberries and muddle more
  4. Add basil and muddle just a little
  5. Stir ginger ale in
  6. Strain over crushed ice
  7. Top with soda water
  8. Rub rim of glass with lime
  9. Decorate with basil leaves, lime garnish and/or whole berries
  10. Serve right away and enjoy!
