Salted Caramel Cacao

Craving something warm and indulgent? This Salted Caramel Cacao is a homemade hot chocolate with a unique twist. The perfect balance of rich cacao and a hint of salted caramel makes it a luxurious treat to sip on. Whether you're winding down after a long day or looking for a comforting drink with a healthy spin, this recipe is a must-try.

 

Ingredients  

+  250 ml unsweetened oat milk
+  20 g ceremonial cacao rocks
+  1 tsp maca powder
+  1 Medjool date (soaked in water)
+  Himalayan salt, to taste 

  

Directions  

  1. Soak the date in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat a quarter of the milk in a saucepan and dissolve the cacao rocks.
  3. Blend the soaked date with 1 tbsp of its water and maca powder.
  4. Stir the blended mixture into the cacao and add the remaining milk.
  5. Pour into a cup and garnish with a pinch of Himalayan salt.
